Bill Irwin v. A Ref (EXTRA)

Corino gets into it with the ref and Irwin attacks him from behind and beats him up pretty bad. Corino puts on the ref shirt and Victory "distracts" him when Irwin worked heel schtick. The Ref's comeback spots were pretty good albeit short lived. Ref counts his own fall after a roll up. This was actually a lot of fun and Irwin looked amazingly good here.

Chilly Willy v. Billy Wiles

This was pretty good actually for what it was. Willy's taunts got the crowd going and I thought Wiles did a good job calling this as it had a solid flow. Basic moves, but good execution and a good pace.

Kid Kash v. Johnny Swinger

I really enjoyed this a lot. Swinger's douchebag antics really helped this out a lot as instead of it being Kash v. spot guy or charismaless heel or whatever, it was Kash v. dancing asshole. Swinger's dancing taunts are fairly low key and not great but he really knows when to execute them. Kash's early big dive looked really great and came off of a good run and his later reverse splash looked really big time too but Swinger really was the star. He was just great in this, stiffing Kash on the floor with cheapshots, gyrating on his face on the ropes to get heat and man the cut offs were good in this. The powerslam was a great cut off. The sit down powerbomb was a brutal and excellent cut off and I think made Kash's subsequent headscissors seem like a really huge spot as a result. Also thought Swingers breakout of the backslide was a great spot as it seemed like yet another case of Swinger cutting off Kash but ended with Kash hitting his big spike piledriver finish for a definitive fall. Very good match.

Mikey Whipwreck v. Little Guido

Pre-match Mikey burns Sal E. This is really short which is too bad because these guys were busting their ass and working super hard. Mikey wins clean.

Tommy Dreamer v. Simon Diamond

Dreamer crushing Diamond's nuts at the beginning of this really set the tone as they just immediately into a wild brawl with Dreamer beating Diamond all over. Loved some of the early slugfest spots in the crowd and Diamond's tumble down the starts was pretty sick. Tommy hits another nut shot in the ring but Diamond's lackeys get involved and Diamond ends taking over with some pretty stiff stuff. He goes for a three amigos but Tommy reverses the third and starts beating up Diamond's crotch yet again this time in the tree of woe which of course leads to the Dreamer baseball slide spot with the chair. Muskateer comes in the ring to challenge Dreamer to a duel and a fan tosses him a crutch which ultimately leads to Dreamer rubbing his sword across his balls and hitting a DVD. Diamond takes advantage with a DDT for a pretty good nearfall but "good ref" blocks him from using a chair. Diamond ends up in a chop exchange with the ref and Dreamer DDT's him for the pin. This is a cross between a hate filled brawl and silly comedy match but for some reason it really worked for me and it stands out as the best Diamond match I've seen so far and a really good effort from Tommy.

Nova/Chris Chetti v. Danny Doring/Roadkill v. Da Baldies

Baldies get attacked in the aisle by Roadkill and Doring pre-match leading to a big Nova splash. Doring and Chetti trip over each other which was pretty funny. There were some decent nearfalls and teases in this. Some pretty good big spots too. Match had no flows though and some really shitty stuff as well.

Lance Storm v. Jerry Lynn

This was a really fiery sprint. Storm was almost totally out of control here hitting his roundoff out of monkey flip reversal super fast, taking an insane face plant bump on the floor and then letting Lynn destroy him with a brutal flip senton off the apron at full velocity. They settle down for a brief second and then come back up with all kinds of other fast paced stuff that I thought was really well executed and by the time they hit the double clothesline spot the exhaustion spot was super realistic. Finish really ruined this one for me as I just didn't want to see a run-in/lengthy distraction spot end this.

Rhino v. Tajiri

Pre-match Corino and Victory attack Tajiri. Fuckface clips this which pisses me off as this starts superhot with Tajiri throwing his kicks and hitting a really good moonsault to the floor before. It picks up with Rhino breaking out of a sleeper by backing into a corner and then destroying Tajiri with some big power offense for nearfalls. Tajiri's comeback is awesome as he blocks a chokeslam out of a sunset flip attempt with the mist and then kicks all the heels to hell. Then he doublestomps Corino through the table the heels had set up for a Rhino gore. Tajiri ends up taking the insane Rhino piledriver from the apron through the table on the floor spot for the pin. Tajiri was really great in this bumping, selling and hitting his spots.

Raven v. Justin Credible

Holy fuck Credible's over the top rope bump at the beginning of this looked like it nearly killed him. Raven takes him up in the stands and fucking beals him down a stairwell. Raven ends up missing an elbow through a table to set up Justin's turn on offense. Justin looks like he's got a nasty hardway cut on his eye at his point. Back in he ring I have to give Credible credit for selling as he makes the match staying interesting despite Raven not doing much of note. Just when they were starting to lose me, Credible takes a really cool table bump from the ring to the floor off of a Raven sleeper escape. Didn't care for the build to it at all, but the tombstone was a really good nearfall. Finish here was really weak which was too bad because this was a pretty good match overall.
