Posted September 6, 201015 yr comment_5455361 God damn Lynn's rana that ends the opening exchange looks nasty as fuck as Mikey bends in a really awkward fashion on the way down. Actually everything in this looks nasty as fuck. These guys are stiffing each other with clotheslines, spike DDT's, et. Lynn's dive looked really brutal too. Was kind of surprised to see Mikey's stunner not be the finish. Nearfalls were good looking though I thought Lynn's selling was really weak. Finish was pretty awesome with a slingshot suplex turned into a brutal DDT that plants Mikey for an easy three count. I liked this a good bit.
November 24, 201014 yr comment_5458634 Jerry Lynn vs. Mikey Whipwreck (10/4/98) This was from the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, GA and like Dylan I was at this show as well. This is the 3rd match from this series that I've seen and this like the others was different so 3 separate style matches between the same guys which is always a plus. This one in particular was more hard hitting as both men really lay in the shots here with Mikey selling fine but Lynn's selling was not so good. The finish run after the stunner was pretty good and I think this is a solid nomination. Really solid series of matches between these guys.
November 26, 201014 yr comment_5458694 Jerry Lynn v. Mikey Whipwreck Low End Nomination - FanCam 10-4-98 - This was really fun early on but sloppy in some spots. With that said, really non-stop action. No real story, just counters and counters to counters mixed in with the big impact move like Mikey’s TKO and Jerry’s hurracanrana. This did have a really sweet ending. I am mixed on a nomination. I enjoyed the match but it had little substance to put it over other matches. I am going no but I really liked the finish.
