Posted September 6, 201015 yr comment_5455368 Rick Rage/D-Von Dudley v. Bubba Dudley/Spike Dudley Spike tries to take down Rage early, but Rage no sells everything. Spike ends up FIP and makes his comeback off of a rana. Bubba's hot tag is pretty good. Bubba takes a brutal fucking chairshot from D-Von in this one. This was actually a pretty solid opener. The Spike dive off of Bubba always looks epic as a finish. Devon Storm v. Pitbull 2 Hey, Storm got in his spots! Then Pitbull hits him with a bunch of shit and takes some huge bumps! Mikey Whipwreck/Davey Taylor v. Erotic Experience This had some cool shit and some bad shit. Cool shit was Kash dives, Kash taking the Hamrick bump and some of Mikey's early offense. Bad shit was Kash and the EE horribly fucking off a key cutoff spot that was building to the hot tag and just the general structure of the match. Bill Alfonzo v. Todd Gordon Fonzy blades and lets himself get thrown all over the fucking place. Steve Williams v. Too Cold Scorpio There was some cool shit in this, and I wanted to rate it, but it really lacked flow and the finish was out of nowhere. I did enjoy Doc's bitching, the Doc counter off of the Scorp rope running spot and Scorp winning a shoulder block challenge, but overall this was super disappointing. Louie Spicolli v. Shane Douglas Boy Spicolli's blade job is really fucking epic here. I don't think that Douglas was terribly compelling as the heel in this, but it's impossible not feel sympathetic for a babyface that is bleeding this much. I really did like Spicolli's comeback here, especially the belly-to-belly which I thought was a nice touche spot. Francine getting the powder out wasa funny moment as the crowd started chanting eightball. Pitbull 2 runs in and pretty much kills this match. Much better than I expected. Eliminators v. Sabu/Rob Van Dam Parts of this were pretty cool. I really dug the train dive, especially the space flying tiger drop from Kronus. i also really liked the table spot with Saturn and Sabu a good bit. They ended up doing the time limit draw, plus five more minutes gimmick here. I thought this was decent but nothing to write home about. Brian Lee/Raven v. Tommy Dreamer/Sandman (Cage Match) Faces get jumped on the floor before the bell. There is just all kinds of bullshit in this and none of it is really compelling. Raven matches are becoming increasingly hard to watch as you just know every time something good starts to happen overbooking is going to run in and cut it off.
