Posted September 6, 201015 yr comment_5455388 Sabu v. El Puerto Ricano JIP, only about a minute shown. Dances With Dudley/Bubba Dudley v. Bad Crew DWD's rain dance elbow drop is fucking ridiculous. This was a pretty fun match. I like Bad Crew a lot as they have good double team offense and will take punishment when it is called for. They actually won this match and then had a wild post match brawl with the Dudz Koji Nakagawa v. Mikey Whipwreck You don't necessarily think "these two guys will stiff each other" but they totally do early. Mikey has great punches actually. Nakagawa eats a plancha and then ends up pummeling Mikey's back when they get back in the ring. Again you don't necessarily come into this thinking "Mikey is going to get tied up like a pretzel" but he does. MIkey wins with a splash after Nakagawa misses a splash. Pisses me off because it was on the way to being really good but never got there. Gangstas v. Public Enemy This was actually not too bad. New Jack took some nasty shots to the head and the brawling had an oddly natural progression to it. I wouldn't call it good, but it was not the disaster it probably should have been. J.T. Smith v. Hack Myers The dynamic between these two is always enhanced by how stupid the crowd finds J.T. and how much they love Hack. Crowd chanting "Shit" at J.T. eventually leads to him getting on the mic and lambasting everyone. Lots of good punching exchanges, including an awesome discuss blow from Hack. J.T. hit's his rope assisted splash and then fucking kills Hack with a fucking nasty powerbomb on his head. There is a weird spot where they appear to do a double nut kick leading to the Hack comeback. Shah just kills him on the comeback with whiplash forearm, legdrop on the ropes and his finisher before the run-in from Bruiser Mastino leads to the DQ. Another one that I would have nominated with a better finish. Pitbulls v. Eliminators (Double Dog Collar) Uninteresting clusterfuck of a brawl. A match like this needs to at least have cool spots and this didn't. Steve Richards v. Tommy Dreamer Basically a violent squash for Tommy. Cactus Jack/Raven v. Too Cold Scorpio/Sandman A cornucopia of bullshit. Everyone from Bubba to Mikey to Meanie running in and hitting their spots with a match sort of loosely happening around that. Kind of entertaining in spots and Sandman snapping and caning everyone to shit was amusing, but this barely qualifies as a match.
