Posted September 7, 201015 yr comment_5455396 By contrast with the previous match, I thought the stand off exchange that started this was really fluid and looked good and the payoff was Tajiri's twisting over the back armdrag followed by flip corner tope which is pretty much my favorite highspot sequence in ECW history. Tajiri takes over after this and then Sal and Guido run out and Sal crushes Tajiri with an elbow through a table. Guido ends up taking a nasty bump on the guardrail which sets up Crazy doing his moonsault (about ten feet away from me though I'm off camera). Man they are running through a ton of shit here, with several counters of big moves by Guido and Crazy and Tajiri is still selling his ass off on the floor after being killed by Sal. There is a really fun strike exchange in here as well. Guido almost takes Crazy's head off with a clothesline off a springboard attempt and locks in the Sicilian Crab but Tajiri rises from the grave and kicks Guido's head off. Before the attack he had Crazy tied to the tree of woe so he ties Guido now and baseball slides his face. We are ten minutes in and now Finnegan decides to make it an official three way dance which is comical. Not a minute later Guido jobs and then Tajiri destroys Crazy with a brainbuster and pins him. I'm trying not to be biased here, but I think this was one of the better full blown sprints I've seen so far even with the odd structure.
November 5, 201015 yr comment_5458019 Little Guido v. Tajiri v. Super Crazy Solid Nomination - FanCam 6-11-99 - Some fancy pants stuff to start off with between Tajiri and Crazy. Tajiri takes over and in a nice spot, Crazy blacks a sunset flip so Tajiri turns it into a tarantula. Soon after, Guido joins the fray and him and Sal take out Tajiri. Guido doesn’t stay on offense long as he tries to dive on Crazy but misses and lands on the rail. OUCH! Damn, both Guido and Tajiri are out but Guido comes back and has a nice solid section with Crazy. Guido and Sal do their best to take Crazy out but he keeps kicking out. Tajiri recovers when Guido has Crazy in a Boston Crab so Guido is greeted with a kick ot the face from Tajiri. Sal tries to interfere to prevent Guido from getting his ass kicked some more but it makes the ref change the match into a three way dance with Guido getting eliminated first by the triple moonsault from Crazy. Tajiri capitalizes immediately and gets the win with a brainbuster on Crazy. I wouldn’t call this a stone cold lock for the set but this is a solid nomination.
