This match is worked as a fucking even-steven match with Spike Dudley which sounds terrible, but it is actually really awesome. Spike is constantly getting himself in bad situations and constantly fighting back from the bell to the finish. I really loved the railshot he gave Taz and the tope that followed it was appropriately crazy. Taz bealing him down a flight of stairs was nuts and the fight to the stage was well done with Taz murdering him with a table spot and Spike fighting back and using a ladder as a weapon of last resort. Some good forearm exchanges back in the ring, a really awesome Taz suplex cutoff spot and man I really loved the finish as Spike went for the Acid Drop and Taz slipped out and locked on the Tazmission for the finish. This was just a really fun brawl with both guys looking great coming out of it. Taz gave Spike a ton and didn't look weak at all. He should have wrestled like this more often.
November 5, 201014 yr comment_5458018 Spike Dudley v. Taz (Falls Count Anywhere) Easy Nomination - FanCam 6-11-99 - After Taz disposes of Corino then Spike comes out and gets his ass beat outside. Spike recovers and uses speed and a crazy dive to try and take control. What makes this match early is the Falls Count Anywhere stipulation. With Taz being a killer, I believed that Spike could be pinned anytime while they were outside. When they went to the ring, I assumed it would go back outside because of the stip but had no idea because Taz suplexed the hell out of Spike. Spike showed some heart making me believe he might pull out a fluke pin. I don’t know if I liked this as much as Dylan but I can support this being on the set. Solid nomination.
November 26, 201014 yr comment_5458734 Falls Count Anywhere Match: Taz vs. Spike Dudley (6/11/99) I love how Taz just pulled the stip out of his ass then proceeded to beat the hell out of Spike until Spike came back with a fucking Acid Drop from the railing then a huge dive to the floor but Taz rebounded to beat on Spike some more all over the building. Spike to his credit fought like a motherfucker and brought it to Taz keeping it interesting and making Taz work to put him away. The finish was great as well and I think this is a fairly easy nomination.
