Posted September 7, 201015 yr comment_5455422 I really enjoyed this because this was a no frills attached bomb throwing spotfest with two dudes that have bunches of cool spots and have no qualms punching each other, taking big bumps, et. Loved the table spot in this, loved balls kicking out of the triple jump, loved the huge bumps Balls took, really enjoyed Balls nutcracker suite, et. Even Sabu's slight flub on the first dive attempt worked out okay because of the way Balls was selling and the dive itself looked really great. I also was a big fan of the finish as Sabu hit a double chair assisted top rope legdrop onto Balls and Mahoney sort of limply kicked his legs in vain to break the pin attempt. Pretty much the perfect match of this type between these two guys.
November 24, 201015 yr comment_5458640 "Homicidal, Suidical, & Genocidal" Sabu vs. Balls Mahoney (12/4/98) This was really good as you had both men going all out here with both men bringing the other into their world as Sabu would go punch to punch with Balls and Balls would also go for some high risk moves to counter Sabu. Balls took some great bumps here making Sabu look good even with a flub or two. The finish run was good too as you had Balls hit his but Sabu kicked out only for Sabu to hit his to win. Solid match and moves forward easily.
November 26, 201015 yr comment_5458691 Balls Mahoney v. Sabu Low End Nomination - FanCam 12-4-98 - I agree with Dylan’s low end nomination. With these two, you expect a bunch of weapon spots and big moves and it didn’t disappoint there. However, there weren’t enough holy shit moments or sound psychology to push this forward. It could still sneak its way on to the set but I don’t expect it to make it.
