Posted September 8, 201015 yr comment_5455427 Christian York/Joey Matthews v. Danny Doring/Roadkill Crowd is super hot for this which helped. The crazy spots weren't really all that crazy here but the pacing was pretty good and Doring took a sick bump. Did it's job as an opener. Kid Kash v. EZ Money All of the big spots looked good here and there were lots of them. My beef with this was the pacing. It seemed to go back and fourth between a wild spotfest and a match trying to tell a more deliberate story. As much as I liked the Kash dives I can't see this making the set. Joel Gertner v. Cyrus About what you would expect. Da Baldies v. Chilly Willy/Balls Mahoney Dudes getting stabbed with forks, stapled in the eye, moonsaulted off stages, powerbombed on entire rows of chairs, et. When you think Chilly Willy you don't really think matches like this but whatever. Pretty entertaining for what it was. C.W. Anderson v. Steve Corino Made SC Top 100 FBI v. Tajiri/Mikey Whipwreck The first part of this is Mikey and Tajiri beating the fuck out of Mamaluke and Guido. Mamaluke is flopping around for kicks, getting burned in the nuts by Sinister Minister's fireball shooting cane, et. Mikey gets caught on a corner punch spot and double powerbombed by the FBI. Guido ends up bleeding a civ in this somehow and Mikey works a really weird FIP segment that never really settles into a true heat segment at all. Seriously this is a fun match but it has some of the worst structure I can ever recall seeing as it really is all over the map. Spot of the match is Tajiri hitting an Asai moonsault onto Sal and getting trapped underneath him. Rhino v. Rob Van Dam Rhino is not the best offensive wrestler in the World, but I liked this when he was on offense. RVD took some pretty huge bumps for him and his initial comeback with the Hilo was really cool. I also liked Rhino's diving clothesline to cut off some shitty RVD offense. Rhino also hits the crazy apron piledriver through table. On the other hand I hated RVD when he was on offense and really loathed the finish. Justin Credible v. Jerry Lynn This needed more bumping from Credible and less overbooking. Whole match was really set up to build to the New Jack run-in which was teased as the finish but ended up being used as a decoy of sorts to set up the actual finish. Okay.
