I didn't think the build to the hot tag was as good as it could have been, but I did really love the cleaning house spots, especially the insane bump Rich took off of a shockingly good Chetti punch. Finish actually looked good too. Not a high end FBI tag but a good match. Balls Mahoney v. Corporal Punishment This was a lot of fun. Punishment is a guy who's gimmick would have never worked in ECW but he tried hard in all of his matches. Here he lets Balls punch him to shit, toss him around ringside, et. He takes one of the craziest crotch bumps I've ever seen and then eats a killer top rope elbow for the finish. Good stuff. Brian Lee v. Pitbull 2 Pretty shitty though I did like Lee's punches. Taz v. Rob Van Dam This was kind of blah. Really came across as a "guys going through the motions" match which is odd because whatever you want to say about RVD that's not usually what you think when watching him. I did like how he struggled in the Tazmission at the finish though. Louie Spicolli v. Sabu Really didn't like this at all and then multiple run-ins made it worse. Pretty annoying actually. I'm starting to think Spicolli was never any good. Raven/Shane Douglas v. Terry Funk/Tommy Dreamer Funk and Douglas' pre-match jawing is great and as Funk talks about hanging Douglas and Douglas says he's a long way from Texas. Enjoyed the early Funk/Shane exchange and then Tommy comes in and it's not pretty. Just lots of sloppy looking botched crap. That's sort of how this one goes as the match is really good when the focus is on Funk punching people, acting crazy, bumping, et and not so good the rest of the time. Once the run-in train started I got totally disinterested in this one. Eliminators v. D-Von Dudley/Bubba Dudley v. Gangstas Sucked and seemed to go on forever. I'm either really cranky or the back end of this show was fucking awful.
