The Dupps v. Kid Kash/Chris Chetti/Nova

Really sloppy match with lots of off time and strange looking spots building to the finish which really wasn't very good.

Jazz v. Simon Diamond

This was okay. Diamond does a good job of selling for Jazz and takes her offense well. Pretty much what you would expect.

Tom Marquez v. Super Crazy v. Tajiri

Tajiri was really fun in this. He was in full blown impersonation mode, slinking around weak legged to mock Marquez, mocking Guido after taking his head off with kicks, et. Speaking of his kicks they were really on point and in some ways the only actual notable things about this one. Marquez was a bizarre choice to fill out this match.

Mike Awesome v. C.W. Anderson

This was disappointing. There were some neat exchanges in this but they all seemed to be isolated moments of quality amidst a bunch of mediocrity. Anderson's punch being no sold by Awesome really pissed me off.

Raven/Tommy Dreamer v. Little Guido/Sal E. Graziano v. Roadkill/Danny Doring

I thought the other three way dance from the show was bizarre, but this takes the cake. Really the best part of this was Graziano and Roadkill working a criss cross exchange until they both "passed out." Actually Roadkill was good in general in this as I liked his exchange with Guido too and thought he was the best of the bunch once the FBI was eliminated. Not very good really, but entertaining.

Balls Mahoney v. Vic Grimes

Fuck it, I liked Balls in this. He busts Grimes open early in this and then this just turns into Balls working semi-comedic garbage spots while touring around the building. Highlights include him using an RF tape as a weapon and screaming at Grimes about the chairs being padded when he attempts to throw Balls into them. Grimes takeover on offense isn't as good though he does crush Balls with a huge elbow off the apron to the floor and a big splash off the top before missing his twisting moonsault to set up the Balls comeback. Balls ends up winning with his signature chairshot. Balls is sort of the master of these fun house show matches that aren't really "best of" type matches but would probably be pretty enjoyable to most people.

Masato Tanaka v. Lance Storm

This is just balls to the wall stuff. Tanaka actually sells more in this than Storm but he's not very convincing at it. I don't mind a good spotfest from time to time but this really lacked the sort of flow or truly epic spots you need to make this sort of thing work. Not a disaster but not very good either.

Spike Dudley v. Sabu

Light mat work starts this off and then Sabu starts punching lil Spike in the face. Sabu goes for his backflip over the top of leaning down opponent so Spike knocks his head off with a forearm and then hits him with an insane apron dive. Holy fuck these guys are hitting each other hard as hell with their strikes. They are building to a table spot that Spike avoid and then Sabu goes to toss him out of an acid drop through it and it doesn't break but god damn it sounds sick. Sabu ends up Air Sabuing him through the table for a nearfall and then a triple jump moonsault for another nearfall. Spike breaks up another triple jump attempt. Fonzy comes out and distracts Sabu for a second and Spike tosses a chair hard as fuck at his head for a nearfall and then dives on him with it for another nearfall. Did I mention that these guys are beating the ever loving shit out of each other? Spike takes a Sabu leg lariat in such a fashion that it actually looks like a spot that would hurt which isn't easy. God damn they run like seven or eight nearfalls that are broken up by the ropes which is sort of annoying but it means they are going to beat each other up more. Sabu brings another table into the ring and now Spike is trying to win with rollups and quarter nelsons. After some dosey doe stuff that sort of stunk Sabu legdrops him through the table for the pin. I will probably be alone in enjoying this so much but fuck it I've sat through a bunch of shit and I"m nominating this anyhow.

Rob Van Dam v. Rhino

What the fuck. This match is going on and all of the sudden the camera man - who I don't think is Gabe or Feinstein - walks over to some one and starts screaming about them being a male rat and the business going to hell because of male prostitutes. Um... Anyhow the match was okay I guess. There were a few big bumps and Van Dam prop bullshit was somewhat muted.
