YES. YES. YES. This is a fucking war. Crazy blindsides Tajiri, but Tajiri catches him on a rope rebound and kicks his legs out from under him. Crazy escapes from the floor selling the shit out of his wounded leg and Tajiri targets it. Crazy tries to fight back but gets back body dropped into the crowd onto about ten fans which is just insane. Then there is an awesome spot as Crazy wades through the people angrily to get at Tajiri and Tajiri just kicks him dead in the face, not once, but twice despite the fact that Crazy is amidst fans on all sides of him and there is no security clearing a clean path for this shit. Back in the ring Tajiri sets up a seated chair and kicks it into Crazy's head, then "busts him open" with a double chair baseball slide into the tree of woe. After a tarantula Tajiri walks him around the ring and then leans him on the rope and fucking bites his open wound and spits the blood into the crowd. Someone screams at him so he throws a fucking chair at them at ringside. This gives Crazy a chance to make his comeback off of the next Tajiri attempt at offense. Crazy ends up setting him up on a table and hitting a massive legdrop through the table on the floor. Tajiri blades and Crazy ends up unloading with his own pretty well done kicks and bites Tajiri's cut and then gets a fucking shit load of chairs from the crowd and throws them into the ring in a huge pile. God damn is this match good. Tajir comes back with a rewind elbow off the ropes and a mist shot and then drags a table into the ring. Crazy goes to the floor but Tajiri stands on the table and kicks him in the face. They tease a table spot but Crazy avoids it and ends up setting Tajiri on the table for a moonsault and a really good nearfall (though Tajiri's shoulders weren't technically on the mat). Crazy ends up getting another table and goes for a powerbomb but Tajiri counters with a DDT on the pile of chairs. Tajiri buries him in a pile of chairs and puts the table over the top of him and double stomps through it onto Crazy for the finish. This had some very brief moments of awkwardness and Crazy visibly clutching some of the chairs took away from the full effect of the otherwise awesome finish, but make no mistake - this was a great match. It was paced very well, had strong selling for a match of this type, was structured exceptionally well, double blade job, good use of props, stiff as shit, excellent highspots, et. I would have no problem with someone calling this the best match in ECW history.

Super Crazy v. Tajiri (Japanese Death Match) Easy Nomination - FanCam 2-4-00

- Crazy starts with dropkicking Tajiri as he enters the ring, Tajiri takes out the leg and Crazy regroups. Shit, that was fast. Then, the next 5 minutes were an exercise in how many ways Tajiri can kick Crazy in the head. Oh shit, Crazy is bleeding. Don’t remember seeing that before. Wow, so Tajiri goes Abdullah and starts biting the cut. Craazy fights back and says fuck it, I want to use some weapon too and sets Tajiri up in a nice table spot. Tajiri end sup busted open and they go a little overboard with the chairs. Whatever, in a street fight, Tajiri turns the tide with the mist. The table set up wiin the cornr was a little contrived but they did a nice job teasing it and paying it off… for a two count. Oh Christ, the counter DDT onto the chairs by Tajiri was sick. The ending was pretty neat but the set-up took a little too long. Either way, awesome match and easy nomination.

Japanese Death Match: Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Super Crazy (2/3/00)

This is the definitive match in their feud IMO and I agree with Dylan in that this could be one of the greatest matches in ECW history. We got everything here as you got double juice, lots of weapons, great high spots, and both guys just laying in the shots on each other showing their mutual hatred for each other. Terrific match and a grand slam nomination.
