Jumbo Tsuruta vs Genichiro Tenryu, 4/20/89 (This is the famous "butchered powerbomb"

match. Tsuruta & Tenryu are well on their way to a great match when Tsuruta

screws up a powerbomb on Tenryu, basically KO'ing him, ending the match right

then. Disappointing. Complete match.)

ALL JAPAN RARITIES (Here we have a couple super-rare matches from All Japan. It's incredible

that this stuff even exists and is still turning up more than 25 years later. A definite

must-have for the collector.)

 

Harley Race vs Jumbo Tsuruta, 1/20/78 (2/3 Falls; both the first and second fall are JIP,

while the third fall is complete. About 30 minutes of a 60-minute draw are shown. This

is actually from All Japan TV and is basically perfect quality. Incredible. The match

itself is very good with each guy scoring a clean fall before they go the distance.)

Ric Flair vs Terry Funk, 10/7/81 (2/3 Falls, entire match is shown; this is actually a

handheld and is maybe the earliest Ric Flair title defense available on video.

Incredible that such a find would turn up after all these years. Unfortunately, the

match is not great with Flair scoring a nice submission win in first fall after about

18 minutes, then doing a submission job in the second after like 2 minutes, then a

horrible double-countout finish for the 3rd fall 2 minutes later. Still, this is a

pretty good match and a definite treat to see Flair this early in his NWA reign.)
