Race/Bockwinkel vs. Inoue/Ishikawa - This was fun for a match between two teams on different levels. Bockwinkel and Inoue traded some nice mat counters early. Race and Bockwinkel brought lots of nasty looking offense, including their own version of the Doomsday Device. Not enough to it for a nomination, but I enjoyed it.

 

Jumbo/Tenryu vs. Baba/Kimura - This was on the right track, with Tenryu taking a real pasting from the veterans and starting to rally. But then it became more of an angle with Kimura turning on Baba and Jumbo attacking him to defend the boss. Good TV segment but not something for the set.

 

Tiger Mask vs. Pirata Morgan - Reviewed on Classics.

 

Hansen/Brody vs. Funks - Reviewed on Classics.
