It's an "American rules" match, which according to the uploader means there is "no pinfall, no disqualification, no time limit (there's still rounds, however), no double countout and the fight continues until there's a winner." It also had a loser leaves town stipulation in the form of the loser having to withdraw from the Hannover tournament. The match was similar to the type of matches Backlund was having in the WWWF at the time (technical wrestler vs. brawler) but with the charm of a Memphis arena match or Sangre Chicana vs. MS-1. It probably could've done with more blood, but Morowski's punches seledom missed their mark and Dieter looked convincingly punch drunk. Some cool takedowns and matwork and a great leg scissors that turned into punches on the ground. The finish was awesome too.
