Killer Kyle v. Bobby Blayze

I really liked Blayze in this one as he is clowning Kyle early with taunts, working the crowd into a frenzy and his rope running spots looked really good. Especially liked his cross body and thought Kyle took it really well. Kyle does a cool spot playing off Curtis and then ends up working over the leg. Legwork is not bad, and Blayze does some cool escapes before being cut back down. Kyle paintbrushes Blayze win he gets to his feet and then eats a one legged dropkick before coming back and cutting Bobby down again. Both Kyle and Blayze take some really good looking bumps in this and I really liked a lot of little touches like a punch exchange being one by Kyle when he punched Blayze's leg, Kyle's paint brushing of Blayze leading to a one legged dropkick, et. Finishing run with the roll ups of Blayze v. big moves of Kyle was fine though the time limit draw finish was sort of fucked up by mistiming on the last spot. Still this was a good match with some quality selling from Blayze.

Prince Kharis v. Anthony Michaels

My favorite part of this was Kharis ridiculous selling of Michaels mini-comeback. This wasn't a total nightmare, but man Kharis was a silly gimmick.

Robbie Eagle v.

Okay match. Things were executed well enough but both of these guys seemed like they were trying to hard to get a reaction.

Rock N Roll Express v. The Heavenly Bodies

Shock of shocks another good match between these two teams. Loved all the early stuff with Del Ray and Pritchard bumping big and the transition to the Morton FIP, while abrupt, looked really good. Again, lots of the staples of their matches, with great selling from Ricky throughout. The problem with this was the camera work missed some of the action on the floor and the finish was sort of lost as Cornette nailing a fan in the face with a racket drew all of the attention away from the match.

Tracy Smothers/Dirty White Boy v. Chris Candido/Brian Lee

This was a good match, but too much of the action is missed by the camera. I really loved Smothers FIP in this and his big leap on the hot tag was great. Shame there was not a better angle for this one.

The Hornet v. Bobby Blayze

Only half the match shown.

Bobby Blaze vs. Killer Kyle (2/5/94)

This is worked early like the classic little guy vs. big guy match with the little guy using his quickness to frustrate the big man while the big man tries to ground the little man or keep him stationary. Kyle works on Blaze's left leg and does a solid job with Blaze being good at selling the pain making his hope spots mean something. I liked Blaze using a nut shot to start his comeback and still selling like a mofo while dishing out the offense. Kyle would go back on offense though pounding on Blaze with Blaze using cradles trying to put him away before they go to a draw. I liked this more than shoe but not as much as Dylan and feel like this is a good low-end pick for now.

Prince Kharis vs. Anthony Michaels (2/5/94)

Another shitty Kharis match.

Robbie Eagle vs. Bo Alexander (2/5/94)

Basic match between two green guys.

SMW Tag Titles: The Heavenly Bodies ("Gigolo" Jimmy del Ray & Dr. Tom Prichard) © vs. The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) (2/5/94)

This was another one of their standard good matches with the stationary camera hurting as we missed some of the action on the floor. RnR hit the double dropkick on Dr. Tom which also took out Mark Curtis so Corny comes in the ring and uses the racket on Gibson which prompts a fat chick at ringside to pull Corny's jacket so he threatens to hit her with the racket so of course her man steps in to egg it on and Corny pops him with it instead. The guy goes after Corny and gets out of camera range with Corny tossing the racket in the ring with Morton getting it and using it as security removes the fan from the area. The finish didn't matter after that went on although it was a shitty DQ. We got better from these teams so it's not a nomination.

Chris Candido & "Primetime" Brian Lee vs. The T.H.U.G.S. ("Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony & "Wild Eyed Southern Boy" Tracy Smothers) (2/5/94)

Fun match yet again hurt by the camera missing the action.
