Ricky Steamboat vs. Atsushi Onita (12/13/82) - They worked in and out headlocks and headscissors to start but carried on with it way too long. Steamboat had this irritating tendency in All Japan to outwork his opponent in a sequence and use the advantage to set up ... another goddamned headlock. Hit somebody Ricky! The match picked up late with some hard strike exchanges and nice roll-ups for nearfalls. But the crowd had mostly quit on them by then and seemed largely indifferent when the bell rang for a draw.

Chavo Guerrero vs. Atsushi Onita (NWA Jr. Title Match, 11/4/82) - I'm having trouble getting a handle on Onita as a juniors worker. He didn't really put his stamp on this match, which Chavo carried with his (admittedly impressive) offense. Onita could have been anybody until he faceplanted on an attempted tope. I've criticized the All-Japan tendency to have an overmatched native take a ton of punishment and then win with a cheap roll-up. Well, this was another example, redeemed only slightly by Chavo busting Onita with a trophy after the match. Can't give this one a yes, though I'd like to find a good Onita match to throw on the set.
