Posted September 22, 201015 yr comment_5456118 Not sure if these were bad burns or what. They literally turn off any DVD player they go in. Never seen that before.
September 23, 201015 yr Author comment_5456148 Yeah it is utterly bizarre. The first time it happened I actually called my wife in to see it and she had no fucking clue either. I tried all five DVD players in the house and it wouldn't run on any and actually shut all but one of them down. Haven't had any trouble with any other disc so far which makes it even stranger
September 23, 201015 yr comment_5456150 I'll send another copy next round of DVDs. Should get the super duper package on Saturday.

Doug Furnas vs. Bob Orton, Jr - Decent match with Furnas grounding Orton with a headlock. You get the feeling Furnas is taking it easy on the old man. No highspots from Furnas whatsoever, just headlocks. Orton takes over and cheats which is fun but Furnas comes back and ends it with a sunset flip. SMW Champ The Dirty White Boy vs. Dick Slater - Man, I was really digging this match for awhile. It felt like it could have come right out of Mid South in 1984. Too bad we had a silly finish and no blood. Lance Storm & Tracy Smothers beat The Heavenly Bodies (Pritchard & Del Rey) - This was a fun match with Storm getting in a nice shin segment before the numbers game catches up with him. Bodies look good just beating the crap out of Storm, focusing on the back, Dr. Tom gives Storm a doctor bomb that looked nasty. When Smothers comes out, the crowd livens up and they still work a really nice FIP section building up to Smothers making the hot tag and leading to the hot finish. Nomination. Brian Lee & Chris Candido beat The Rock-n-Roll Express in a "hair (Morton) vs. hair (Tammy Fytch)" match to win the SMW Tag Title - Pretty famous match that Cornette admits was a mistake in not giving the payoff to the stipulation. Really good match with Morton playing Ricky Morton. Early on, the shine segments were fun with Morton kicking Lee in the balls but Lee later turns the tide by tossing Morton out of the ring. Later on, with the ref’s back turned, Lee gets his receipt. New Jack interfered at the end causing Ricky to take the fall but it was Candido who ended up getting his hair chopped. I am not opposed to putting this on the set. Bob Armstrong, Tracy Smothers, & Road Warrior Hawk beat Bruiser Bedlam, Terry & Dory Funk, Jr. in a "Texas death" match. - Eh, reminded me of ECW in 1994… not my cup of tea.
