Horner fucking decks Anthony in the face after a leapfrog which gets a literal pop from me at 4 AM to the displeasure of my wife. Horner beats White Boy all over the building, grinding up his face with a bar, tossing him into a wall, et. DWB's selling is good and when he takes over this one gets a wilder feel as he runs him full speed into a wall, kicks him with total contempt on the floor, tosses him onto a table, et. Horner comes back with the dreaded coke cup punch, but Anthony rightfully brushes it off and DDT's him on the floor. Horner ends up face planting into a stack of chairs. They disappear and when they come back on screen they go into a really great punch exchange that DWB ends with an eyepoke and another wall shot. God damn Anthony is awesome in this as he just beats the fuck out of Horner, pulling his shirt over his face and punching him hard as hell and then dragging him onto the exposed portion of the hardwood floor for another DDT. I have seen lots of "guys drag other guys by head around arena" spots but none of them that actually meant anything before that one. Horner's shirt is half off, ripped to hell and Anthony is just punching him hard as fuck. Then he beals him with the remnants of his shirt when they get into the ring. DWB ends up taking his big leaping bump off of Horner's comeback punches. Finish is cool as Horner angrily kicks him in the balls, then atomic drops him into the ropes and they do a double head bump with Anthony on top. You think that is going to be the bullshit way to put over DWB, but Horner hooks him with a quick crucifix for the finish. Horner was good here, but Anthony was just great on a totally different level.

I thought this was just a great brawl. Horner was good but DWB was just a bad ass brawler where this style of bout really highlights his skills as a wrestler. You can't give enough credit to Horner for taking that beating and his selling was awesome. These guys really had a good feud here in SMW. It's also great to see Horner highlighted in a different way than most people remember him. Most people remember him as a guy who would have good matches with the Horseman at the old TBS studios in singles or in tags with Brad Armstrong. He got pushes in other territories but it was usually as undercard technical babyface. Here we see him as main event baby face in a kick ass brawl that I can see making a top 20 or higher on my match list for this territory. It's a great match that isn't widely circulated or pimped. I think this is better than most of the more pimped ECW brawls. This is an easy nomination.

Street Fight: "White Lightning" Tim Horner vs. "Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony (11/14/92)

God damn that right hand from Horner on DWB was one of the best punches ever in a wrestling match. Holy shit. Horner continues to pound on DWB all over the building even using a iron bar but a nutshot by DWB would change the momentum. DWB then took Horner all over the building pounding on him even DDTing him on the floor. These guys are just beating the hell out of each other with DWB giving Horner a second DDT on the floor but Horner would eventually fire back up and he just started teeing off on DWB before they had a double collision seeing DWB fall on top of Horner but Horner would roll him over to get the win. Damn good street fight and a easy nomination.
