Posted September 23, 201015 yr comment_5456164 Ricky Morton v. Mike Golden This was a really good match though I don't know that it was a SMW match so I have no clue what to do with it. Pedecino and Michael Hayes are on commentary here. Morton gives Golden a lot in this and takes a lot of punishment. In particular he took a great powerslam, a big bump on a missed crossbody and a really sick looking running knee to his face. Morton's comeback was okay and the finish wasn't very good with Hayes coming down. Chris Candido v. Ben Logan Total squash. Candido has cool offense so this was entertaining for the time that it lasted. Cornette interview where he talks about bringing his talent here for a World tag title tournament. Hmm. This definitely isn't SMW. Bambi v. Peggy Lee Leathers Decent women's match I suppose. Leathers heeling and way of winning made me chuckle at least. Nightmare/Bart Brettler? v. Curtis Thompson/Scott Suggs Quick squash Holy shit there is a promo with Ahmed Johnson and Greg Valentine. AWESOME and ridiculous. I know this isn't SMW though Mark Curtis has been reffing these matches and you sent it so fuck it I'm watching this. RnR's interview. Mark Von Eric/Dory Funk Jr./Rick Garren v. Greg Valentine/Aries/Siva(Ahmed Johnson) Dory does a cool theatrical bump for Siva on the floor and Siva does some cool power spots. Siva does a boss dive off the top. I know none of this matters but fuck it, I'm watching it anyway! High Voltage v. Siva/Aries Sucked. Lee Thomas v. ? Squash match. Don't know either guy. Rock N Roll Express interview Cole Twins v. ?? Audio is kind of sketchy on this and I don't recognize the Cole opponents. Again it doesn't really matter and the match is decent. Rawhead Rex/Scotty Fernandez v. Marc Von Eric/Rick Garren Rawhead took a crazy bump! He is a real ragdoll in this which makes this decent enough. Another interview with Valentine/Ahmed/et. Another Cornette interview Rock N Roll Express v. Scott Suggs/Curtis Thompson Corny is on commentary for this. Some decent stuff in this. There was a good cross body off the ropes and Ricky sold well. Corny and Morton jaw mid-match. Morton ends up taking a huge bump into the ring post after a ridiculously long control segment by the RnR's. Corny helps the R N R's win. Strange. Chris Candido v. Tracy Smothers This is listed as 2-26-94 on this DVD, but it is the same match I reviewed and nominated already from a disc that was listed as 2-24-94.
