But instaed of buildign on that, Mil polished him off easily with a pair of flying forearms. Oh well. Stan Hansen vs. Ashura Hara (1/15/82) - Already reviewed. Giant Baba/Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Gypsy Joe/Tor Kamata (1/15/82) - Wild match. Gypsy Joe bated Baba and Jumbo into delivering multiple chairshots and basically no-sold them. Baba also chopped the shit out of him, seeming truly annoyed for whatever reason. Those were the highlights. They quickly spilled into the crowd and brawled to a double countout. I enjoy Gypsy Joe a hell of a lot more than say, Tiger Jeet Singh, in the exotic, uncontollable heel genre. But this didn't stand up to all the great brawls that will be on the set. Mil Mascaras vs. Genichiro Tenryu (2/4/82) - I was interested to watch Tenryu work a long grappling section with a luchador and actually, it was pretty damn fun. The crowd popped big when he maneuvered Mil into a bow-and-arrow. Actually, they made all of their mat counters look really hardfought. The stretch run got pretty wild with both guys hitting dives to the floor, and I liked the fight over the pin after Mil hit his cross body. This turned out to be a hell of a match. Nomination. Nick Bockwinkle vs. Jumbo Tsuruta (2/4/82) - Already reviewed. Stan Hansen vs. Giant Baba (2/4/82) - Alraedy reviewed.
