Posted September 28, 201015 yr comment_5456382 First thirty minutes of this disc is identical to the tail end of the last disc. Triple Threat in ring promo. Douglas says the ECW Arena is the house he built, calls out Van Dam, challenges RVD/Sabu to a tag match against him and Candido. Clips of Taz/Triple Threat feud. Clips of RVD interactions with Candido/Storm/et. over previous weeks. Shane Douglas/Chris Candido v. RVD/Sabu This is clipped. Douglas arm gets attacked by RVD and then Taz knocking him out of the match. Bammer ends up running out and brawling with Taz, while RVD/Sabu put Candido through a table for the pin. Last image is Taz getting thrown a car window outside. Bubba promo mid-ring mocking fans for marking for the stuttering Bubba gimmick. The Sandman/ v. Bubba Dudley (Street Fight) Clipped and basically all that is shown is stuff that happens once the run-in train starts. Essentially this becomes a strange WarGames style street fight with people coming out it in odd intervals. Jack Victory is out first and takes multiple table bumps from Dreamer who brings out barbed wire. D-Von is out next. Then Spike with a ladder which he takes a crazy leap off of. Big Dick is in. Then New Jack runs out last. Bubba blocks a guitar shot but ends up eating a bunch of other plunder shots. Several guys get bumped with a shopping cart. New Jack goes for the diving chair shot and gets hit in the gut with a guitar by Victory on the way down. This actually might be a decent Extra in this clipped form it is in. EXTRA Fonzy v. Beluah This was shown as part of the "Beulah is seriously hurt" storyline. This is still as awesome as the first time I saw it. Justin Credible v. Jerry Lynn (I Quit) I liked this a good bit. This was really different than their other matches in that the pace was a lot slower and the big spots were well built to. You could quibble a bit with this and say that there weren't a ton of submission attempts and the ref didn't have a live mic. But other than that I thought this was a pretty strong match. Credible is usually a guy I find boring offensively, but here he looked solid and in control on offense and his big spots looked great, especially the Razor's Edge and the reverse ddt through the table (which looked like it nearly killed Lynn). Credible's big bumping segment didn't come til late, and was sort of subdued by his standards, but it set up a great plancha from Lynn. Really thought the selling of the big moves was good in this and even the interference of Credible's lackies seemed appropriate and didn't hurt the flow of the match. Finish with Lynn hitting the tombstone and then stretching out Credible for a submission was good. Clips of Douglas/Taz feud.
