I liked this a good bit. This was really different than their other matches in that the pace was a lot slower and the big spots were well built to. You could quibble a bit with this and say that there weren't a ton of submission attempts and the ref didn't have a live mic. But other than that I thought this was a pretty strong match. Credible is usually a guy I find boring offensively, but here he looked solid and in control on offense and his big spots looked great, especially the Razor's Edge and the reverse ddt through the table (which looked like it nearly killed Lynn). Credible's big bumping segment didn't come til late, and was sort of subdued by his standards, but it set up a great plancha from Lynn. Really thought the selling of the big moves was good in this and even the interference of Credible's lackies seemed appropriate and didn't hurt the flow of the match. Finish with Lynn hitting the tombstone and then stretching out Credible for a submission was good.

I Quit Match: Jerry Lynn vs. Justin Credible (6/6/98)

This had some good action as Credible held his own here with Lynn who was solid as usual but this was an I Quit match that didn't feel like an I Quit match meaning they didn't play up the stip well at all. The work was good though and I liked this match although not as much as Dylan and I feel like this is a low-end nomination.
