Nothing for the set. Jumbo vs. Ishikawa - I enjoyed Ishikawa as an underdog, hitting a big dive to the outside and taking the fight to Jumbo for most of the match. I was actually shocked when Jumbo won by reversing a roll-up instead of nailing any of his big offense. Fun match that needed more build for me to consider a nomination. Tenryu vs. Billy Robinson - This was JIP with them in a leglock that quickly led to an awesome ground-and-pound exchange. They matched up well, with Tenryu as the young gun giving Robinson more than he wanted and Robinson as the wily vet pulling counters out of his ass. Loved Billy's twin backbreakers to set up the finish. It didn't last long enough to make the set, but I would love to have seen them go 20 minutes. Brody vs. Prince Tonga (Haku) - Essentially a Brody squash.
