Posted October 2, 201015 yr comment_5456524 This is from a Concord, NC FanCam that I don't believe we have. Mat exchanges were really brilliant and fluid looking in this. It was JIP but I really don't think we lost much of the front end at all. They build up o some big in ring spots and then Crazy takes a face first bump on the floor followed by Tajiri's always super high Asai moonsault. Really loved the big exchanges on the floor as Tajiri through some bombs, they hit a nice rana and backbreaker and then crazy did a ref vault flip plancha that actually looked organic whereas that spot usually looks extremely choreographed. Crazy is really playing to the crowd here, but in a way that is implicitly heel. Tajiri making come back with a jumping spanking (literally) into a really good looking tree of woe dropkick ruled. Crazy ends up winning on a sit down powerbomb out of a rana attempt. Another really good match from this series.
December 4, 201014 yr comment_5459231 Super Crazy vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri (2/6/99) This looks a gym that OMEGA would've ran. Great start to the match with both men ruling it on the mat and the fans cheering them. Tajiri hit a beautiful Asai Moonsault that built to the Tarantula which the crowd popped huge for. I'm sure the guys loved working this gym because the floor was heavily matted so they weren't hitting all concrete so they were going even more all out on their dives like Crazy doing the ref vault tope suicida. Tajiri would make his comeback hitting all his kicks leading to a fun stretch run with Crazy getting the win. This was one of the best matches of their series and this is a solid nomination.
December 6, 201014 yr comment_5459837 Super Crazy vs. Tajiri (2/5/99) - Neither of these guys is really established so it is interesting to hear how the crowd reacts to both guys. Both guys do some cool shit early on and I love how they work the armdrag spot into some cool shit on the mat. Even better, Crazy blocks the 2nd rolling arm lock into a half crab into a surfboard and rolling the surfboard. Sweet stuff. Man, after the dives, this thing picks u pwith some spots we all know but the fluidity of the spots from one to another was great. Really, in execution, this was nearly flawless. The only complaint with so many of these matches is they are criminally short. Still, good shit.
