His character never *died*, he was rescued by EMTs and had severe rib and lung injuries.

Yeah you got an excuse Will, he saw every episode and he should've at least recognized Husky.

I recognized Husky when they showed the replay, but I never realized who the first guy was until people started talking about it online. It probably didn't help that Joe Hennig is the most "looks like every other dude" kind of dude ever.

Also, while WWE is probably going to blame Paul Bearer for being Too Fat To Move, Undertaker is quickly turning into Joe Namath in his last season with the Rams level of painful to watch. I give him credit for sticking it out, but maybe they should tell him to ease up on the high flying spots since he obviously is too banged up to keep doing them.

Since there wasn't anyone new in the main event WWE will blame the bad match/dead crowd on an "exhaustive touring schedule" or the fans being "burned out from so many PPVs in a short period."

or the fans being "burned out from so many PPVs in a short period."

Haven't they been saying that one for years now? And more importantly, isn't it actually true? It seems like everyone in that company realizes that they run way too fucking many PPVs, but they never cut the schedule back and year after year their buyrates drop. Why the hell are they still doing retarded shit like right now, with three separate PPVs scheduled within a five-week period?

And why don't they realize that Theme Shows don't draw? Every time they've tried to introduce some new gimmick show, it seems like it inevitably falls on its ass. Be it Taboo Tuesday or Cyber Sunday or Extreme Rules or Night Of Champions or TLC or Breaking Point or Money In The Bank or Hell In A Cell or Bragging Rights, the consensus seems to be that the gimmickry does not draw in the casual fans. Hell, One Night Stand seems like the only time they've done it well in the past decade, outside of the Royal Rumble or occasional flukes like InVasion. EDIT: or Fatal Fourway or Elimination Chamber or... christ, when I have to edit my post because I just now remembered more theme shows, that proves they run way too goddamn many of these things.

His thinning hair was the give away.

That UT/Kane finish was pretty stupid, they definitely did not need the big light show when Taker was about to do the Tombstone like it was a fatality or something. If the story turns out to be that Paul Bearer stole Undertaker's powers back into the urn then at least it takes the story somewhat interesting.
