Dudleys v. Raven/Dreamer

This is the title match JIP. I had forgotten how lengthy this match was, how much Dreamer got in early and how much punishment he took before Raven made the save. Pop for the Raven run-in and title switch really was insane. We should have this in full, but I'm tagging this here anyhow. EXTRA

Lance Storm v. RVD

Basically just the finish shown, with the Credible run-in, Lynn making the save, Johnny Smith helping the Impact Players.

Rob Van Dam v. Jerry Lynn

RVD says since he didn't get the chance to beat Storm's ass, he and Lynn should have a go. Lynn accepts. Lynn's ribs are heavily taped so he sells them off the opening exchange. I did enjoy that this was not a totally your turn, my turn affair, but man some of this shit looked hilariously awful. RVD does a legsweep at one point that looks horrible and Lynn takes the most awkward bump off of it. Later they do a really slow motion looking powerbomb spot out of the corner. Don't want to shit on this all together, because I liked a lot of spots in it - Lynn's running dropkick, Lynn's huge table bump, et. - but when you contrast this with other stuff in the company at the time those sort of miscues look really obvious. Also I hated just about everything that happened after Lynn "came back" from refusing the medical treatment. In short, I don't hate these matches as much as some people, but I don't think they are great matches either. Also this really served to remind me of how stupid they were to never let Lynn pin RVD as the crowd really wanted to see him win here.
