Posted October 5, 201014 yr comment_5456797 I don't think we have this one and it was pretty great. This is all Tajiri as he just kicks Crazy senseless throughout. Really cook kick variations including the pinning combo escape into back kick, and a really cool spot where he jumped backward off the middle rope and hit a sharp kick to Crazy's head. Tajiri takes the vast vast majority of this and really controls the tempo. This is a match filled with cool shit (including Tajiri's running corner hilo which is one of my all time favorite dives) but it is paced really brilliantly and Tajiri's interactions with the crowd really make the match as he is jawing with them, spitting on them, telling them to kiss his ass, et all the while setting up mini-hope spots for Crazy that he cuts off in convincing fashion. Another nasty brainbuster finish. Really good stuff.
November 26, 201014 yr comment_5458701 Super Crazy vs. Tajiri (ECW 1/7 + 1/14/00) - This one is a hard one for me to rate. On one hand, everything was smooth, they worked their usual solid match. On the other, it felt like I have seen it all before. It was like the Tajiri-Crazy greatest hits match. There are far worse dilemmas to have when deciding which matches to cut but I was hoping it would have that one huge moment that would distinguish it from the others. OnThen again it did have Tajiri mocking the crowd and dancing around. Nomination.
December 13, 201014 yr comment_5460259 Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Super Crazy (12/23/99) God damn is Tajiri awesome as a punkass heel as he posed, danced around, & mocked the fans which was just great. The fans are molten hot for this one and both men put on their usual great match here. This may have been a greatest hits type match but Tajiri's attitude pushed this over the top for me. Solid nomination.
