Highlight package for the show.

Mikey Whipwreck v. Nova

There is a fair amount of silly bullshit in this, but I enjoyed it as a whole. Mikey almost kills himself hanging up his leg on the guardrail on a plancha. There is a really drawn out set up to a top rope bulldog but the spot itself looked pretty sick. Nova steals the win after a cool series of reversal spots. Mikey does a freak out promo afterward.

Clips of Corino/Rhino costing Dreamer/Raven a loss to Doring/Roadkill

Corino/Victory beating the shit out of Dreamer in mid-ring when Dusty Rhodes hits the ring. Dusty dominates the heels, but then Rhino hits the ring and takes him down. Sandman hits the ring. Sandman canes Rhino but Victory/Corino drag him out of the ring. EXTRA

New Jack v. Angel

Vacuum cleaner shots, pizza cutters, et. This got somewhat interesting when Grimes interfered and took an insane flip bump onto a shopping cart before getting drilled with a nasty chair dive on the floor. Then Grimes missed another flip plancha and this time took a crazed bump on an upright chair. After a commercial New Jack does an insane balcony dive on Grimes though a table. Jack staples Devito's hand but then takes the fall from a lone trash can shot. A fucking trash can shot? Really? This was a pretty fun garbage match and I considered nominating, but that finish was some bullshit.

Erik Watts/Lou E. Dangerously promo mid-ring. Lou antagonizes Paul by talking about how great Bill Watts was and then makes it worse with a bunch of Jew jokes. Paul E. grabs the mic from the stage and cuts a promo on Watts and Lou. Paul sends out Spike Dudley who squashes Watts in short order. EXTRA

MIke Awesome faces off Rob Van Dam. This is a great segment. Awesome calls out RVD who answers. Awesome challenges him to take his World Title. RVD accepts but then the lights go out. Sabu is in the ring and the crowd is chanting "Three Way Dance." Awesome says he will take them both on. Then Sabu throws a chair into RVD's face. Awesome powerbombs RVD on a stack of chairs and Sabu Triple Jump Moonsaults him. Then Sabu knocks out Alfonzo and puts him through a table. Great stuff. EXTRA

Replay of the Awesome/RVD/Sabu angle from the week before but this time we see the whole thing including Spike running out to make the save and getting powerbombed to shit and Awesome/Sabu doing a rolling thunder though a table onto RVD.

Super Crazy v. Ricky Banderis

Banderis does one of the shittiest dives I've ever seen in this. Just unbelievably bad. This wasn't really bad, but I was happy when it was over.

Raven/Francine backstage promo with Raven asking Francine if anyone ever thanked him for saving her.

Finish to Corino/Rhino beating Dreamer after New Orleans Saints player Josh Wilcox turned on him. Post-match Dusty comes out and beats the shit out of the heels.

Steve Corino promo

Simon Diamond v. Jazz

Pretty pedestrian.

Sabu v. C.W. Anderson

I did enjoy how they built to the big table spots, the first of which ended up being an awkwardly looking spinebuster. My problem was that I didn't think they did much during the build of note. Anderson got over really nicely for a couple of big spots, but you need more convincing shit to carry a match like this and aside from Sabu taking a big bump off of an Anderson punch their really wasn't one.

Rob Van Dam/Fonzy talking about Awesome and Sabu.
