Posted October 6, 201014 yr comment_5456852 Paul E voice over about Taz shocking the wrestling World. Jack Victory/Steve Corino v. Danny Doring/Roadkill JIP. Doring really is not a compelling FIP. Roadkill does his table plunge and gets the pin with the Amish Splash. Little Guido v. Tajiri v. Super Crazy JIP and heavily clipped. Lots of cool shit shown to the point where I really hope that we can find this in full. Crazy does a vault off of Sal onto both guys in the crowd. Tajiri hits some really nasty kicks on Guido and Guido sells by falling on the face of people in the front row. Tajiri dropkicks the edge of a table into Guido's head busthing him open brutally. He gets killed with a chairshot. They do a nutty spot with Sal taking a massive bump off of a rewind elbow. Crazy is bleeding profusely. There is an awesome Gory Special spot from Tajiri. Tajiri stacks chairs on top of Guido and a table over him and puts Crazy on the table, but Crazy moves so they double cover Guido's carcass to eliminate him. Ref gets mist shot and then Tajiri takes a brutal powerbomb through a table and one of the best Crazy moonsaults I've ever seen. Rhino runs in and Crazy avoids one gore but then gets hit with another. Crazy eats the diving piledriver from Rhino through a ringside table. Post-match Cyrus comes out and cuts a promo which brings the Sandman to the ring. Sandman gets the upperhand but then gets the red mist from Tajiri. Rhino double gores A.C. Loak and the Sandman through two tables. RVD comes out on Scotty Anton's shoulders. Rhino stops Cyrus from cutting a promo on RVD and then threatens to beat Van Dam's ass. Van Dam clears the ring and faces off with Rhino. This is a tremendous segment and a lock as an extra. If we find this match in full it looks like it could be something akin to Foley v. Austin from OTE 98 - an overbooked epic that actually works. EXTRA Da Baldies v. New Jack/Tommy Dreamer Dreamer and Devito brawl into a snowstorm. Devito pelts Dreamer with traffic cones. Dreamer takes a suplex on a table that doesn't break int he lobby. Dreamer gets knocked off of a stairwell through a table. Devito's selling of getting a bathroom trashcan to the skull was amusing. This was a fun garbage brawl. Highlights of Taz title win over Mike Awesome. EXTRA History of the ECW title highlight reel Rhino destroying Scotty Anton. RVD hits the ring and fights Rhino but security separates them. Rob Van Dam promo Danny Doring/Roadkill v. FBI This is Sal E/Guido in a tag match which is interesting. I lliked the interactions with sal and Roadkill a lot. Sal moves around well and I dug his splash on the floor and thought he did a good job taking Roadkill's Thesz Press on the floor. Doring vaulting of of Roadkill onto Sal was a cool spot, especially as it was followed up by a great spot where Guido ran around the perimeter of the ring and legsweeped Roadkill off the ropes before he could hit a dive. Doring/Roadkill fuck up the timing on a Hart Attack clothesline spot which is too bad as the match has been flawless up to that point. Sal and Guido working cut off the ring spots on Doring, with Guido spitting in Roadkill's face ruled. I also loved the diving elbow from sale's shoulder followed by Sal E diving headbutt from the ropes. Sal's bump off the diving chairshot was awesome and then Roadkill hit his splash for the finish. Da Baldies run in post-match and lay out the faces. I doubt anyone will like this as much as me, but I thought this was a really cool match and a bit of a deviation for both teams. Kid Kash v. Super Crazy Opening exchange in this is really cool. Crazy does a great stagger sell off of a Kash dropkick and then Kash hits his big dive. Holy crap they are just running through shit with big rope running dives from Kash, Crazy's moonsault series, et. Kash gets hit with a nasty delayed brainbuster for the finish. Too short to rate, but fun. New Dangerous Alliance v. Nova/Chris Chetti Balls to the wall sprint. Not a total disaster.
