Balls brutalizes people with chairshots and shotputs him onto the Dudz. Bubba drops Spike on the guardrail from an electric chair position and then later gives him a toss from the ring through the table on the floor. Spike bleeds a sick, sick gusher. Bubba fucking kills spike with a nasty top rope powerbomb to block a rana attempt. Balls sets up a table and fills it with thumbtacks and sure enough Balls takes the big bump but amazingly Spike makes the save only to get hit with the 3D to drop the tag belts. This is fairly chopped up but I think it's good enough to consider as a match. At worst it's an Extra.
November 26, 201014 yr comment_5458700 Spike Dudley & Ballz Mahoney vs. D-Von & Bubba Dudley (TNN 9/3/99) - I remember watching this when it went down and thought ECW was the most exciting shit I had ever seen… long after its so called peak. I know Dylan gave it a low-end but I liked this much more than him. I think the thing that hurts it more than anything are the commercial breaks. If we have a fan-cam of this, then we put this on the set for sure. As it is, I give it a solid nomination because these guys were going to war, with Spike all bloodied up and Bubba dropping huge bombs although many of the spots have probably been work out by now.
December 6, 201014 yr comment_5459778 ECW World Tag Titles: Spike Dudley & Balls Mahoney © vs. The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray & D-Von) (8/26/99) I hate the replays and the commercial breaks but take that away this was quite the battle as these guys were just throwing bombs on each other throughout. I really wish we had a fancam of this match to see it in its true form because what was shown here was pretty damn solid. I'll back this as a nomination but in this form I think it's more of an extra as well as it ties into the whole Raven return angle as well which is a definite slam dunk extra.
