Posted October 11, 201014 yr comment_5457112 Ultra Seven vs. Lizmark - JIP about five minutes in. It was a treat to see Lizmark, who got ridiculous height on his aerial stuff and tossed in some neat mat stuff as well. But Ultra Seven could not keep up or even get in position for Lizmark's big dives, so the match wasn't anything special. Kabuki/Tenryu vs. Hayes/Olonowski - Hayes and Olonowski spent the first few minutes working over Kabuki until he escaped with a nice enzuigiri. Tenryu took the hot tag but quickly got in trouble himself after Hayes clocked him with a chairshot outside and followed with a spike piledriver in the ring. Kabuki ended up as the hero, cleaning house and then finishing Olonowski with a sweet superkick and his second-rope fist drop. Not much of a match. Jumbo vs. Gordy - Gordy kept following his best power moves with holds that didn't go anywhere, which really killed the momentum of the match. I liked the struggle to block and counter big moves over the last few minutes, but then Hayes interfered for the DQ. Pretty flat match overall and it seemed to exist mostly to set up the 1/22 tag between Jumbo/Tenryu and the Freebirds.
