Posted October 12, 201014 yr comment_5457143 Open exchange of this is really awesome with Tajiri and Guido going right at each other and Guido shooting a double leg before a bridge out into a powerbomb that we only see part of due to a terribly timed commercial. Back from the break Tajiri hits Dick Murdoch's finish on Guido, than moonsaults Guido and Sal, then does a hilariously great celebration of said move, then throws the most contempt filled punch I've ever seen when Guido gets on the apron, then kicks him in the face and mocks him, then stands on his head. Totally fucking awesome. Someone needs to do an all Tajiri podcast. Guido takes over with a Fujiwara out of a brainbuster and goes for the Tomikaze but Tajiri escapes only to get Fujiwara'd again. Guido's bumps huge for a Tajiri flurry and ends up hitting the best top rope rocker dropper I've ever seen him hit. Sal gets on the apron so Tajiri kicks him off. They get into a strike exchange that ends with Tajiri slapping the shit out of Guido and then hitting him with a horrifying looking head kick and the brainbuster for the finish. One semi-awkward moment, but overall that was awesome.
November 26, 201014 yr comment_5458702 Little Guido vs. Tajiri (TNN 1/28/00) This had one of the worst NWA-level commercial breaks of all time as they cut out right before a powerbomb. Come on! Again, this had cool shit but also a couple of awkward moments. I saw this in the recent Crazy match but I LOVE when Tajiri just stalks around a downed opponenet because you never know if he is going to punt them in the head. I love Guido’s repeated attempts of the Fujiwara armbar. The Sal on the apron standoff was awkward and not nearly as cool as the Crazy-Guido Sal interference. I think I am going to flip with Dylan and call this the low-end nomination while the Crazy-Tajiri match was high end in my book.
December 13, 201014 yr comment_5460263 Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Little Guido (1/22/00) Oh God the commercial breaks kill me here what bullshit. The action that was shown was fast and furious with both men looking great especially Tajiri who continues to be awesome. Tajiri's kicks were great here and his aura was just fantastic at this time. Guido bringing the wakigatame was fun but Tajiri would find a way to get free everytime and even though Sal tried to interfere, Tajiri's awesomeness would prevail. This wasn't the best match in their series but still a good one and this moves forward.
