Jumbo/Tenryu vs. Gang/Tsurumi - I was shocked how much Tsurumi and Gang dominated the offense, even when Jumbo was in. Tsurumi looked better than usual, throwing some nice punches. But this was one of those annoying matches where the higher-tier team took all the punishment and then Jumbo hit three moves to finish it in about 30 seconds. There was no drama to it, because for everything Gang and Tsurumi did, the crowd knew they'd get punked out in the end. Funks vs. Baba/Kimura - Terry spent most of the match selling for Kimura. Dory took the hot tag and hit his usual flurry of Euro uppercuts. That led to the typical four-way brawl and countout ending, with Baba and Kimura using miscommunication spots to tease their coming break-up. Plodding match overall without the memorable moments to save it.
