Impact Players Impromptu match. I liked Mikey in this as he was really reckless and just fun too watch. Francine gets caned in the stomach while trying to attack Dawn Marie. Cyrus mid-ring promo with C.W. Anderson/Elektra. Cyrus tells Elektra to go walk the streets. Lou E. drags Elektra out. This results in a promo where Cyrus says that Scotty Anton cannot remain on tv as he doesn't have a contract and they can't afford another Mike Awesome situation. Anton comes out and Cyrus says he will kick his ass. Anton gets attacked by Rhino. Soctty Anton v. Rhino Decent little match that really is just there to set up the post-match Rhino/RVD pull-a-part. Tommy Dreamer/Sandman/New Jack v. Jack Victory/Steve Corino/Tajiri This is one of those classic ECW matches that start as one on one and devolve into utterly wild affairs with guys just running in and being added to the match. Corino and Victory bleed huge in this. I swear there are about four nasty suplex spots involving the ladder sandman brings. Tajiri kicks peoples heads off. Sandman hits his insane flip senton onto a ladder. Tajiri hits his table double stomp. They do a ridiculous spot where Tajiri gets the mists lodged in his throat and Victory smacks him on the back and it ends up releasing in Corino's eyes to set up the finish. This was actually a lot of fun for what it was. Post-match Rhino hits the ring and helps the Network takeover. Then Dusty hits the ring and hits the bionic elbows. Cool spot as Rhino stands up to two bionic elbows but then gets caned to shit. EXTRA Paul E narrates brief promo package on Dreamer v. Taz title match Angle with Tajiri refusing to turn over the tv title to Rhino and The Network Tajiri v. Rhino As a face turn for hated heel, Tajiri was really pretty great here. The problem is Rhino really sucked. I mean his offense was awful and terribly unconvincing. A better opponent to compliment Tajiri and this would have been another nomination. This is the one that should be shown as an EXTRA as you get everything. Man you can really feel the crowd die and the company start to suck the moment Credible hits the ring.
