Ric Flair vs. Jumbo Tsuruta (2/3 falls, 10/09/81) - Already reviewed. Bruno Sammartino/Giant Baba vs. Tiger Jeet Singh/Umanoseke Ueda (10/09/81) - The crowd was hot to see Bruno and loved it when he stopped Singh and Ueda from choking Baba with a bamboo stick. The match mostly consisted of Sing and Ueda choking, hitting low and using objects. Baba juiced, which was rare, and the crowd went nuts when Bruno clamped Ueda in bearhug near the end. It ended in double DQ with everyone brawling on the outside. It worked as a messy spectacle that kept the crowd entertained, but I felt they could have done more with Bruno's rare appearance. The Sheik vs. Tiger Jeet Singh (12/09/81) - They carved each other up with weapons for five minutes and then brawled into the crowd. Singh actually ducked in to win by countout. It was exactly the match you'd expect them to have.
