Posted October 17, 201014 yr comment_5457345 Jumbo vs. Greg Gagne - Already reviewed. Dory/Baba vs. Hansen/Brody - Already reviewed. Dory/Kerry Von Erich vs. Gagne/Brunzell - Dory worked almost the entire match. Despite a few bits of nifty offense, they didn't do a good job of varying tempo or establishing a plan of attack for either side. Things picked up right at the end when Kerry went for the claw off a hot tag and the High Flyers responded with some beautiful dropkicks. Dory rolled through a Brunzell body press to take the pin. Pretty forgettable stuff overall. Jumbo/Tenryu vs. Hansen/Funk - This stood out from the usual Brody/Hansen match for several reasons. Tenryu showed a lot of fire in standing up to the bullies. Hansen and Brody did some really focused work on Jumbo's arm. The natives did a great job working on a nasty cut over Brody's eye. And they came up with a nifty twist on the usual brawl to the countout, with Brody ducking back into the ring and hitting a nasty dropkick that drove Tenryu off the apron. It wasn't a truly epic match, but you guys should check this one out.
