The old line on AJW used to be that the girls weren't very athletic until Yokota showed up, but there's enough footage of Sato to prove that she was a far better worker than Meltzer ever gave her credit for. Being a former basketball player she was far more lanky than the typical AJW recruit, and Yokota was clearly more athletic, but Sato was no pushover wrestling-wise. There was a lot of cool matwork in this bout and some awesome holds. Unfortunately, it was butchered for TV. The match went to a double count out with an "extra period" to determine a winner and it appears as though only half the match aired.
