Posted October 22, 201014 yr comment_5457509 Francine reads a memo pre-match barring Corino from ringside. Corino talks shit and announces Dawn Marie as his manager for the night. I've seen this clipped before but watching this in full it comes across like a match that despite its flaws ought to be considered for the set. Corino's punches and timing were really impressive in this which sounds like low key praise until you see the match and watch in unfold. Francine hits a huracanrana on Corino on the floor which sounds stupid but somehow wasn't. The build to the finish was sort of overblown and there was a lot of stuff going on but the crowd was so wild for this and the nearfalls so intense that it seemed like something really important which rarely was the case with Credible matches.
December 6, 201014 yr comment_5459849 Steve Corino vs. Justin Credible (ECW on TNN 9/15/00) - I don’t know about this one. Not really much to the match and I think I like the pre-match more than the match itself. Corino was pretty great at selling the chairshot and I thought he would start bleeding by now. I think what bothers me most about Credible is he has no idea when to apply the chinlock. It’s ok if you are trying to ground an opponent good on his feet or trying to shift momentum but his chinlocks are so random. Oh, and the table break wasn’t that great. No vote.
February 16, 201114 yr comment_5464671 ECW World Heavyweight Title: Justin Credible © vs. "King of Old School" Steve Corino (8/26/00) Everything around the match itself was good with Victory getting kicked out, Dawn Marie debuting as the new manager of Corino, then the end with Billy Corgan showed up but the match was where it all fell apart. Corino did a pretty good job of carrying Credible here and there was some insane crowd heat here but this had some hit and miss moments here and I think this could stay off but we probably need the Corgan stuff as an extra.
