Scott works over both guys early and the bulldog the Steiners have almost attacks Pritchard. Really amusing variation of the criss cross spot, this time with the heel walking away. Rick just keeps running while Pritchard talks to Del Ray and then when Pritchard turns around he gets clotheslined by Rick who was still rope running. More comedyesque stuff with monkey flips, dogs in the corner, et. Another criss cross spot this time with Scott bailing and Cornette ending up cut up on the ropes. Both Bodies fall over trying to save Cornette and then Pritchard gets "attacked" by the Bulldog on the floor. Del Ray ends up in a posing contest with Scott and then gets hit with a tilt a whirl slam coming off the ropes before whiffing on a frankensteiner. An edit here and we are in the middle of a heat section with Scott getting beaten on the floor. Scott ends up getting spiked with a DDT on a a couple of different occasions which was sort of odd. Del Ray goes for the DDT a third time and it gets reversed into a pretty sick looking release Northern Lights. Scott with the hot tag. Yes, we get the Awesome Rick Steiner powerslam! Cornette in with the racket and the Bodies look go to steal a win but Rick just gets his shoulder up. Heels work over prone Rick so Scot breaks the bulldog lose and DQ's the Steiners. Pretty sure we have this in full on a handheld though it is one of the disc that won't play right for me. I'm going to pass this version on for the time being.

I watched this one on the best of the Heavenly Bodies comp. The edit here occurs in the middle of getting heat on Scotty. I don't think we have this in full. I think we only lose a minute or 2 off the edit. I thought the match was solid. I dug the comedy with the dog. I believe in the fact that Arnold wanted to bite the heels. They start with a shine at the beginning. This was mostly comedy with some hard shots. Then we get the heat from the heels and Del Ray looks pretty great with some high impact stuff. Still I was underwhelmed and their are a lot of better tag matches that this promotion produced. I say no, but if we want the novelty of the Steiners in SMW that I can see it making the set, but as a match based on its merits in my eyes it's a no vote.

Rick & Scott Steiner vs. The Heavenly Bodies ("Gigolo" Jimmy del Ray & Dr. Tom Prichard) (10/8/93)

Steiners come in with their dog which keeps the Bodies at bay. This is also JIP with Scotty throwing around both Bodies before tagging in Rick who does the criss cross spot with Doc but keeps going as Doc stopped and then just nailed him with a Steinerline as he walked into him. Lots of stooging and bumping by the Bodies early here and the dog was getting involved as well. Scotty would miss a frankensteiner and that would start the FIP section but like the other matches on here that is when we get the clip because God forbid we get heels on offense for too long. Scotty took some punishment here before getting the hot tag to Rick and that setoff the 4-way brawl. Gigolo would hit Rick with the racket and as this was going on the dog was in the corner barking his head off at the Bodies which was a cool look. Scotty then released the dog and Mark Curtis called for the bell as everyone went running out of the ring. This moves forward but I wish we had a full version.
