All the same spots with Mark Curtis being outsmarted by both the heels and the faces, but with a more brisk pace and better highspots. I was tired when I wrote this and not in the mood to toss out any ringing endorsements, but this was an example of a match where the Thrillseekers looked good. Couple of cool double leapfrog spots and a neat double team before the finish also worked in this ones favor. Not a home run by any means but I think this is good enough where others should take a look.
December 30, 201014 yr comment_5461229 I gotta say the Seekers got a big time reaction from the girls in the audience. Jericho at this point on the interviews on t.v comes across so unlikeable. He just tries so hard to pander to the audience.I would have really liked to see them go heel and work the Rock N Roll. I thought both teams did a good job working the stips and getting them over, plus it allowed them to connect to the audience earlier. I would have preferred if we had a special enforcer like Bullet Bob or the Bossman to enforce the rules. (the penalty desk wasn't working for me) You can easily see a Rocker influence in the Seekers with the double team moves. Some were cool, some sloppy. The 1st ten or so minutes were worked to get the stips over so their wasn't any clear case of a heat or shine segment. Eventually one of the heels sneaks out from behind the desk and posts Jericho and get the heat on him for the final stretch run. We see a pretty awesome belly to belly from the heels, and an awesome insideout suplex bump from Jericho that was awesome. The finish was fun too. Still with all of that it doesn't quite hit a nomination for me, though wouldn't fight against it making the set. Storm is quite the athlete. He has some major ups.
June 29, 201114 yr comment_5475459 Penalty Box Match: The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho & Lance Storm) vs. Well Dunn (Timothy Well & Steven Dunn) (7/2/94) I will give them this, they worked harder and faster here than the night before and the Seekers were pretty good with their double-team stuff. There were some similarities to the previous night but again at a faster pace so it helped it. The finishing sequence was done a little better as well and I got no problem with this as a low-end pick.
