All the same spots with Mark Curtis being outsmarted by both the heels and the faces, but with a more brisk pace and better highspots. I was tired when I wrote this and not in the mood to toss out any ringing endorsements, but this was an example of a match where the Thrillseekers looked good. Couple of cool double leapfrog spots and a neat double team before the finish also worked in this ones favor. Not a home run by any means but I think this is good enough where others should take a look. The Funk Brothers v. The Armstrongs I liked the opening parts of this a good bit as Scott worked a good even kilter with the Funks but without making either look any less tough or more experienced than they obviously are. Scott and Dory work a surprisingly interesting hammerlock exchange that got good heat and felt important. Scott knows how to take a beating too and here he gets his ass kicked, getting tossed around, DDT'ed by Terry on the floor who then runs him ragged with chops and punches in the crowd. Then Terry goes to hit him with a garbage can, but Armstrong pushes it and it falls on Terry's head emptying the trash all over him. Back to the ring and Funk is on the apron staggering around out on his feet while Dory and Scott square off again. Scott goes back into peril after a good looking butterfly suplex. Terry in and hits his awesome neckbreaker and stuff powerbomb for a nearfall. Scott rolls up Terry for a good hope spot. Dory back in and they do a cool spot with Scott trapped in an arm bar reaching for a tag in desperation and Steve is JUST out of reach. This has another double knockout headbutt spot with Terry only this one doesn't lead to a hot tag. Really great strike exchange in the corner with Scott almost breaking free before eating a belly to back. Terry in and he end sup getting back dropped over the ropes to the floor on a piledriver attempt. Funk triple bumps for a back suplex which was totally ridiculous but really awesome and leads to the Scott hot tag. Terry with an over the rope bump and The Armstrongs hit their double shoulderblock on all the heels including Cornette. This time Dory takes the delayed dropkick and Terry uses the branding iron for the DQ. This was another strong match primarly due to Terry and Scott. Tracy Smothers v. Bruiser Bedlam (Street Fight) This is a replay of the brawl form the night before in almost every way. Confederate Flag is the early weapon, they spill to the floor, Smothers goes to the additional plunder, crowd is going bat shit, et. Bedlam hulks up after a turnbuckle spot and Tracy takes a huge bump off of a single Bedlam punch. Smothers is really great bumping and selling again for Bedlam. They even redo the powder and hammer spots from the previous night. This time Corny just keeps tossing more and more shit into the ring for Bruiser to use and even though this is a handheld shot fro the Bleechers you can hear Tracy screaming over the crowd at many points which is a nice touch. Same deal with the belly to belly comeback and strap dropping Hulk Up. Smothers hurling a weapon at Cornette was pretty great. Tracy misses the jaw jacker and Bedlam goes to throw Smothers into a giant wooden frame Cornette has propped up, but he reverses it for the win. Strong pick for the set. Dirty White Boy v. Bruiser Bedlam (Cage Match) Corny and Bedlam are in the Cage. This wasn't much really. Much worse than the previous night.

There were some similarities to the previous night but again at a faster pace so it helped it. The finishing sequence was done a little better as well and I got no problem with this as a low-end pick. Scott & Steve Armstrong vs. Dory & Terry Funk (7/2/94) Good back and forth action to start the match telling the story that the Armstrongs were a formidable threat for the Funks. Terry thinks he is in ECW as he DDT's Scott on the floor then beats his ass before grabbing a garbage can that Scott would reverse into dumping the trash on Terry's head which was great. Terry sells like he is drunk while Scott & Dory go back to wrestling in the ring which was hilarious. The Funks would then take control of Scott and this was really well done as you had the dichotomy of the way each Funk handled their business while Scott was solid with his hope spots. Steve would get the hot tag and cleaned house on the Funks before the brothers hit their diving shoulderblock on all the heels including Corny. Dory would take the Double Impact dropkick off the top rope before Terry would use the branding iron for the DQ. The finish here stunk but damn this was loads of fun thanks to Terry & Scott especially Terry who performed like a motherfucker here. This moves forward easily. Street Fight: "Wild Eyed Southern Boy" Tracy Smothers vs. Bruiser Bedlam (7/2/94) This match was almost spot for spot the same as the previous night but with more weapons and a much better finish. I liked this one more than the 7/1 match so this easily moves forward. Steel Cage Match: "Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony vs. Bruiser Bedlam (7/2/94) Same bullshit as the night before but the match itself was worse.
