The Heavenly Bodies v. Lance Storm/Dirty White Boy

We've seen this before several times now. Storm goes it alone. Outsmarts Bodies early. Bodies take advantage. Few hope sots. Anthony show sup on apron. Gets hot tag. Babyfaces win.

Jim Cornette/Killer Kyle v. Bob Armstrong

The majority of this "match" is Jim Cornette being searched for foreign objects by Mark Curtis. Cornette gets knocked loopy and ends up doing a Terry Funk style sell where he is tied up in the ropes ringside, stumbling around, throwing things over his head. After a brief FIP, Armstrong stills a quick fall.

Jimmy Del Ray v. Ricky Morton

This is part of a "King of The Mountain" match where one bout flows right into the next, but if you are rating it as a single match it was really good. Morton showed a lot of fire early and ended up going down to a nut shot. Lots of below the belt offense in this, with Del Ray exposing his ass at one point after getting kicked in it and Ricky getting punted twice. Del Ray does a bionic elbow while on offense which is pretty amusing. The finish is pretty cool as they tease a few comeback and Morton gets bumped to the floor. He comes back in with a sunset flip that shockingly gets the fall. Too abbreviated to stand on it's own and I'm not sure how we should these matches anyhow as this is technically a gauntlet style gimmick.

Killer Kyle v. Ricky Morton

Kyle jumps Morton and takes over immediately. Morton sells some and then rolls up Kyle coming off the ropes for the three.

Ricky Morton v. Chris Candido

Morton destroys Candido early, Candido comes back by attacking Morton's hurt leg and ends up winning. Too short to be anything other than fun.

Robert Gibson v. Chris Candido

Candido takes a pretty huge bump form the top to the floor off of a Gibson dropkick. Gibson does a pretty cool looking slow elevation bridge here on an escape. Candido ends up overcharging a bumping the top of a turnbuckle to lose. Good while it lasted.

Robert Gibson v. Tracy Smothers

Quick babyface match. Good action with a roll up finish for Smothers.

Tracy Smothers v. Bruiser Bedlam

Probably the best match so far with some good selling and back and fourth. Still lacks the visceral feel of their street fights though and I can't see it as a nomination.

Dirty White Boy v. Bruiser Bedlam

This sucked.
