NOMINATE: Christopher Daniels vs. Super Crazy Solid Nomination - FanCam 6-17-99

- I don’t know why this wasn’t nominated but this was pretty damn fun. CD was pretty ruthless in destroying Merced leading to the Crazy match. He didn’t botch any moves and played a pretty convincing heel. I even enjoyed the crotch on the ropes spot Every time Crazy would hit a big move to put him away, you could see the frustration mounting with every kickout. This frustration got the better of him and CD capitalized for a surprise win. In 2010, I can see why this wouldn’t be nominated but for 1999, I think this is a pretty must have match for the set to showcase Daniels in a unique setting.

EDIT: Just read Dylan's thoughts and I didn't think the roll-up exchanges were shitty. I was actually happy that a pin came off one of those exchanges since they usually are there just for the crowd clap at the end. This one paid off.

Christopher Daniels vs. Super Crazy (6/17/99)

Daniels worked against Mosco first and put him away easily so he challenged Crazy to come out which he did. This was in Chicago so the local indy fans knew who Daniels was but the fans that weren't were introduced to Daniels and he impressed here by destroying Mosco then taking Crazy to the limit and actually getting the win after surviving all of Crazy's moves. Crazy looked good here on his dives and the fans were hot for everything here which says something about Daniels for getting them riled up. The stretch run was good as well and I think this should move forward.
