On my trek through Mid-South (any of you watching it weekly on justin.tv too?)

Matt why do you constantly torture me by mentioning cool territory stuff that is apparently on justin.tv that I can never find when I look there?

Because I have weekly routines based around this crap!... and have for the last year + I think.

www.justin.tv/mistyskin/videos/

Friday Nights (and archived until Tues or Weds): 1980 memphis TV

Saturday Nights (and archived until Weds or Thurs): 1985 Mid South (2 eps), 1987 Pro Wrestling This Week 2 eps, and 1985 Crockett (WW, SN, WW).

There's also 1986 (I think) Prime Time Wrestling mid week, but... it's not quite the same.

There's also www.justin.tv/projectsunfire/ but that's way more scattershot.

www.justin.tv/mistyskin/videos/

............dagnabbit, when I click a link that has the words "misty" "skin" & "videos" in the url and the first thing I see is a "must be 18 to view content" disclaimer on the webpage, this was not what I was exspecting at all.....so disapointed now, so so disapointed now.....

KC Timeline of the WWF 1997 with Jim Cornette is unsurprisingly pretty great. Cornette doesn't go off as much as you'd think, although Kevin Dunn and Vince Russo do take some funny verbal abuse. Very interesting inside view on the insanity that was WWF in 1997, and it only reminds me how great and interesting this year was. Cornette also makes it obvious that the WWF basically lucked up onto getting back to success, things happened that weren't planned or predictable.

I frigging love Cornette commenting on Lawler vs Sweetan on the wrestling gold set. I haven't seen it in maybe 7 years and I know a heck of a lot more about Lawler now. He just goes on about how brilliant and perfect everything Lawler does in the match is and how the crowd's responding and Dave sort of half grumbles in reluctant agreement and points out how bad Sweetan's being again.

Lucha Libre USA is coming back to MTV2 for another season on Oct. 1 at 10am, set your DVRs. Also I just now realized that Rebecca Reyes from here is Matt Hardy's girlfriend working under her SHOOT NAME~! Bet now she's wishing she stayed with Mini Halloween (referring to the last season of LLUSA which I'm sure no one here watched).

The promo photo on their website is fucking fantastic btw:

I have felt sad to be a wrestling fan a handful of times. The Sting/Flair match on TNA was the worst that didn't involve anyone being raped or dying. That I had to add a caveat of 'not being raped or dying' also makes me sad.

Best line on this board in a long time. So very true.

The superplex spot was really the saddest moment of the match. No way should he be taking such a dangerous bump at age 62 on a bad shoulder. Given the reports of how bad the match was, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting, though that's probably thanks to the magic of editing.

Flair looks like he's about to die.

I can't believe this shit is on TV and people are actually paid to put this crap together. This stuff was old and had overstayed its welcome 13 years ago, and Flair, Hogan and Sting are still on TV along with Bischoff, while Russo writes the show. TNA is the worst promotion ever.

I think Sting looked mediocre in it, but having an old man as an opponent distracted me from spending the whole match paying attention to Sting.

John

Sting's had some solid work this year. This is probably the worst thing he's been involved in this year. At least with the Jeff Hardy match you got to watch Sting just manhandle him.
