Just out of curiosity, I scanned the All-Japan love folder to get a sense of how various wrestlers are represented.

Fittingly, Jumbo and Tenryu tied at 58 appearances, lapping the field.

Hansen was next with 32, far ahead of other gaijin stars such as Terry and Brody (9 each), Flair (8) and Harley (7).

Choshu posted an impressive 16 appearances in barely more than two years.

Yatsu wins the sidekick award with 24 appearances, almost all as the junior member of a tag team. Hara turned up 11 times in a much shorter run.

In your Misawa/Kawada feud, Tiger Mask jumped out to an early lead and appeared 8 times but Kawada quickly caught and raced by him with an impressive 18 appearances in 1988 and 1989.

With strong bursts at the beginning and end of the decade, Baba appeared 13 times.
