Road Warriors/Paul Ellering v. Crusher/Larry Hennig/Curt Hennig

 

This is picked up at the ten minute mark and Larry is FIP. Curt tags in and immediately gets nailed with a powerslam, takes a big corner bump and is a good sympathetic figure for some of the Warriors better offense. Ellering comes in to pick bones, but Curt tags out shortly after that with the Axe hititng a clothesline and then the Crusher coming in and beating on Paul. All hell breaks loose and both Warriors get tossed over the top with Crusher pinning Ellering.

Road Warriors v. Dino Bravo/Rick Martel

 

I really like Martel in this as he works a speed v. strength deal very well. Liked his rollup and crossbody spots a lot especially. Bravo his a surprisingly nice monkey flip escape out of a test of strength. Bravo being isolated as the face in peril seems like an odd choice. Warriors go for a Hart Attack clothesline variation but Bravo trips Hawk coming off the ropes and they go to a DQ finish with chairs flying into the ring.

 

Road Warriors v. Jimmy Garvin/Steve Regal

 

JIP, though there is more of this shown here than on some of the previous stuff where we only have the finish. This is okay. Regal really isn't very good and the Warriors aren't going to carry anyone.

This was disappointing. I wasn't expecting a great match, but this didn't have very sound structure and there wasn't really any highpoints in the mach either.

This is from Japanese TV but from an AWA ring. Interesting to watch as it is such a bizarre amalgamation of people including Backlund, Kamala, Jimmy Vliant, The Warriors, Sarge and a shitload of other people.

This is either stuff I've seen or not nomination material.
