Posted November 15, 201014 yr comment_5458336 Jerry Blackwell interview saying Hogan has never slammed him Jerry Blackwell v. Hulk Hogan JIP. Pretty sure this is close to a full match as they are still working collar and elbows when this starts. Blackwell uses the rope to block an early Hogan slam attempt. Blackwell and Hogan shoot off the ropes and collide with neither guy going down so Blackwell hits the ropes again and eats a Hogan boot. Crowd is going crazy as Blackwell is on the floor soaking it in. Blackwell takes a huge bump for a Hogan punch and then a cool delayed "timber!" bump off of a Hogan elbow. Hogan goes to a chinlock. They do a spot where Hogan gets a nearfall with a splash and then Hogan goes right back to the headlock/chinlock. Blackwell's heat section isn't compelling at all. Hogan fires up but then misses a corner charge and both men are down. They go through some of the standard Blackwell fat man spots, except this time it is Blackwell who couldn't get Hogan up for a bodyslam. Both guys spill over the top. Hogan gets him back in. Bodyslam and leg drop but Blackwell's leg is on the bottom rope. Hogan with another body slam but Blackwell bails out of the ring and leaves. Parts of this were good, but I didn't like the flow at all. Finish of a Hogan/Blackwell match shown. Ref missed a bodyslam so I'm guessing this was a bodyslam challenge. Hogan goes for another but Ventura reaches under the bottom rope and trips Hogan. Ventura and Hogan end up in the ring with Hulk beating on Jesse but Blackwell ambushes Hogan with a chair. Jerry Blackwell/Adrian Adonis/Jesse Ventura We have this on the Adonis comp in the exact same length. Jerry Blackwell v. Greg Gagne JIP. Crowd is really hot for this. Blackwell is a really good base for Gagne's stuff and bumps well as usual. Sheik Adnan runs out and appears to toss something into the ring. For some reason Blackwell hurls Gagne over the top and gets DQ'ed. Then The Sheik this the ring and they double team Gagne. Hulk Hogan/The High Flyers v. Jerry Blackwell/East-West Connection JIP. There is clipping in this and the match is basically built around Hogan being unfuckablewith. Adonis finally ends up in after a bunch of stuff with Ventura and Blackwell and Adonis is great bumping all around including a crazy teased back body drop to the floor with him barely saving himself on the ropes. After another clip Adonis ends up taking a wild 360 bump. Match ends up getting thrown out. Only good or notable thing about it was Adonis. Battle Royal Highlight of this was Gene Okerland's call of Bobby Heenan's elimination. Actually there were a lot of big guys in this so this had a bit of a "woah which fat guy will survive" feel to it making it more interesting than most battle royals. Still nothing worth seeing really.
