Him working explosive speed spots to get around Studd was really great and I liked Mad Dog's slam of Studd a lot as a big "holy shit!" spot. Heels end up isolating the Baron and Blackwell hits a good avalanche splash. Then...yikes. Lots of Studd v. Baron segments and boy do they suck ass. Mad Dog is pretty good off the hot tag but by then this match is in the "bleh" pile. Baron Von Raschke/Crusher v. Jerry Blackwell/Big John Studd JIP. Basically a finish shown. Post-match beatdown of the babyfaces is pretty epic with fans trying to jump into the ring to save Crusher. Jerry Blackwell/John Studd interview. Blackwell was amusing. Jerry Blackwell/Big John Studd v. Crusher/Baron Von Raschke JIP. Notable because the ring ropes break and they use them as a weapon. Decent I guess, but this is a feud that doesn't interest me at all. Crusher interview. He sings Old McDonald at Blackwell. Jerry Blackwell v. Crusher JIP. Crusher is bleeding. Blackwell's selling of Crusher's punches was awesome, especially his quasi-backflip off of an uppercut. Crusher ends up hitting Blackwell with a chair for the finish. Blackwell destroys Crusher post-match and the fans nearly riot. Crusher interview Crusher v. Jerry Blackwell This is silent film footage and sped up a frame or two. A little ways into it it slows down and a commentary track picks up. Really liked the spots on the floor with Blackwell hitting the ring post on an avalanche and Crusher taking a nasty post shot himself. Adnan gets involved and Crusher ends up fighting both of them.
