Posted November 17, 201014 yr comment_5458406 Not sure if we have this already or not but based on what I see of the existing shows we are missing this tv taping. Anyway this was short but great. Spike bumps huge for Awesome early including a really insane looking bump off of a standard back body drop. Spike finally makes a comeback and hits a really awesome variation of his rolling senton that puts Awesome on the ground and him in the first row. He then does his diving chair spot. They build up to the inevitable top rope Awesome Bomb finish pretty well too. This was really a big burst of energy, but it was well structured for a match of such brevity and I continue to be impressed by how well Spike could work with just about anyone.

The bumps here were really good and the finish while expected delivered nicely. This moves forward.
May 27, 201114 yr comment_5472000 Spike Dudley vs. Mike Awesome (11/18/99) - Damn, Spike takes an ass beating. The big issue I have with this match is it is so similar to the other Spike – Awesome matches and the table spots were high impact but how different is this from their other matches including their PPV match which has a lot of the same spots. Plus, the ending is never in doubt.
