C.W. did some cool shit and Kid Kash fucking up his dive amused me but this wasn't a good match. The Dupps v. Roadkill/Danny Doring Total Squash. Little Guido v. Tajiri v. Super Crazy Pretty great opening with Tajiri spraying the mist in the air and Guido looks up so he kicks him in the head. Guido tries a corner charge after a brief Crazy/Tajiri face off and Tajiri back kicks him. Crazy ends up on the floor and Guido tries to crawl on Tajiri's back, but Tajiri rolls through on a sleeper attempt. Guido and Crazy briefly team up to take out Tajiri and Guido locks on the Fujiwara but Tajiri gets up and just casually kicks Guido in the nose to break it up and then stands on his face. Tajiri ends up moonsaulting the other two plus Sal E after a teased Crazy Asai spot goes awry. Cool spot with both Crazy and Tajiri tasting the steel but Sal E runs at them and ends up missing both and flying into the crowd. Then Crazy ends up tossing everyone into the crowd and he hits his huge Asai with Sal E grabbing a fans drink and throwing it into the air right afterward. Tajiri with a tarantula and Guido hits a running dropkick to the face on Crazy at the same time. Guido and Tajiri hug and Tajiri is egging Guido on and convinces him to go up top. When he does he just sort of calmly pushes him down on his nuts and then stands on his nuts in a tree of woe position before vaulting off of set nuts into a moonsault spot which he misses. Then Crazy and Guido hit a run of shit on Tajiri taking him out which hurts the match from the perspective that Tajiri is gone but actually helps the narrative as Tajiri being a cocky douche was the theme here and it ended up costing him the match. After Tajiri gets taken out there is a really awful spot with Sal and Crazy, a shitty looking backhand from Guido, and some other middling stuff, but Guido winning clean after getting the knees up on the triple moonsault and then hitting the Tomikaze was a pleasant surprise. RVD/Mike Awesome face off. Erik Watts v. Raven Watt's pre-match promo is pretty amusing. Watts dominated the match. Raven took a good corner bump into a chair. Of course Raven won with a DDT. Balls Mahoney/New Jack v. Da Baldies There was some cool stuff here. Grimes bleeding,Grimes getting spinebustered on a shopping cart, New Jack hitting Grimes in the head with something that looked like a giant nailed filled board, Grimes diving into the third row, Grimes taking an insane tumble down the stairs, Grimes flip plancha through a table. Basically Grimes getting his ass kicked was the highlight though New Jack's running chair dive to Angel was awesome. Masato Tanaka v. Mike Awesome This was hard to get through. I just don't give a fuck if I ever see another one of these matches again. We already have this on tv I'm pretty sure. Steve Corino/Rhino v. Tommy Dreamer/Dusty Rhodes I nominated the tv version of this and there isn't enough variance here for this to take precedent over that. Mikey Whipwreck v. Rob Van Dam Have on tv in full.
